ORIGIN ALTITUDE SOIL Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, Mendoza 1100 msnm. TÃpico suelo aluvial, muy heterogéneo, con estratos rocosos calcáreos de gran volumen a profundidades variables.
GRAPE COMPOSITION 66% Malbec, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Ancellotta, 10% Caladoc ALCOHOL 14,60% vol | TOTAL ACIDITY 5,93 g/l | RESIDUAL SUGAR 2.00g/l
VINIFICATION Double selection before and after destemming. Fermentation was carried out in concrete vats (without epoxy) filled by gravity, with indigenous yeast, manual pigeage and delestage. Maceration on pomace during 20-30 days. Part of Malbec was fermented with stem. Malolactic fermentation took place in the barrels. Different lots were aged in French oak barrels (first, second, third and fourth use) for 12 months before blending.
TASTING NOTES Violet color with deep blue hues Spiciy and smoke notes, subtle and distinguished. In the mouth is elegant with a silky entry. Tannins tha reflect the vineyard´s calcareous soil. A fresh blend with great personality
