DATA SHEET
Cheval des Andes, is a fusion between the renowned "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" from Saint-Emilion: Château Cheval Blanc and Terrazas de los Andes; Argentine winery specialized in the elaboration of Premium quality high altitude wines, for more than two decades.
This magical encounter results in a refined, subtle and complex "Grand Cru de los Andes"; that combines the savoir-faire of assemblage, with varieties of French origin planted in 1929 in the best high altitude terroirs of Mendoza: Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo.
Colour: It presents an attractive deep red colour, with purple hues.
Aroma: It is distinguished by its aromatic complexity, characterized by a fresh and fruity profile, with floral and mineral aromas. Notes of ripe plum, blackberries, lavender, and anise stand out. At the same time, tertiary aromas of chocolate stand out. The balance between freshness and maturity prevails.
Mouth: Fine and persistent. The presence of Petit Verdot in this cut contributes to enhance its juiciness and fluidity in the mouth. It is a balanced wine, with elegant tannins and an aromatic finish.
