VINEYARDS 100% of this Malbec comes from the Franco-sandy soils of Gualtallary, at 1300 meters above sea level. There, a high amount of thick elements, which include gravels and rocks covered with calcareous and fractured caliche, represent between 50-70% of the total volume of soil, with a high percentage of free calcium carbonate in the profile, which gives the wine its fresh, mineral, chalk character.
