Varietal: 100% Malbec Origin: Uco Valley (Los Sauces - Tunuyán) Altitude: 1,050 meters above sea level Winemaking: Selected vineyard section using precision viticulture practices. Budbreak control and a yield no greater than 5,000 kg/hectare. Water restriction at veraison, hand-harvested in crates. Selection of bunches and berries. One punch-down in the morning and a gentle pump-over in the afternoon. A single racking at 1040 g/cm³ density with temperature control at the heart of the cap. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Soil profile: Sandy loam and stony soil, with increasing granulometry with depth in the first 60 cm, along with the presence of pebbles. Calcareous veins are observed at different depths. Aging: 18 months in French oak barrels. Maceration: 4 days of cold maceration, 32 days of total maceration including post-fermentation maceration at controlled temperature.

Tasting notes: Very intense and brilliant deep color with violet hues. Opulent in aromas and with a persistent varietal character, a great balance of its fruity aromatic profile: raspberry, plum and fig jam, hints of violets and red roses, chocolate, coffee grounds, and vanilla from its oak aging. The terroir contributes complexity with its notes of spices and minerals. On the palate, it is very full-bodied and robust, with ripe and silky tannins. It delights the palate with delicacy and explodes on the long finish. It is only produced in exceptional vintages.
