AntiSynthesis Field Blend - Sophenia Winery

Following a vision of Roberto Luka, Finca Sophenia made his dream a reality: Elaborate magnificent wines, a genuinely unique terroir, located at the foot of the Andes.

Equipped with a unique architectural profile, a winery has the latest technology in reception, milling, pressing and vinification imported from France.

The SOPHENIA Winery spans over 130 hectares of the best virgin land in this part of the world. The soil is stony-sandy and has an excellent drainage power.

The vineyard was implanted with selected French clones, grafted on American plants, of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varieties.

A sector of the vineyard was reserved for Malbec plants grown in Mendoza, low productivity clones chosen for their aromatic properties and whose origin is the most representative vineyards of this unique region, in which Malbec reaches its maximum expression.

Irrigation water comes from the melting of the Andes and the distribution system was designed for small-grained fruits and low production per hectare so that the wines have longevity, great complexity and high concentration of fruity aromas.
