Varietal: 100% Merlot Origin: Vista Flores, Tunuyán, Uco Valley Altitude: 1,100 meters above sea level Soil Profile: Low vigor, low fertility soil, silt mixed with coarse sand over a bed of pebbles and other stones Winemaking: Selected vineyard sector using precision viticulture practices. Budbreak control and a yield no greater than 7,000 kg/hectare. Water restriction at veraison, manual harvesting into crates. Selection of bunches and berries. One punch-down in the morning and a gentle pump-over in the afternoon. A single racking at 1040 g/ha with temperature control at the heart of the cap. Pressing with hydraulic presses. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Maceration: 3 days of cold maceration, 25 to 28 days of total maceration, including post-fermentation maceration. Aging: 12 months in French and American oak barrels (first and second use).

Tasting Notes: It presents an exuberant and intense dark cherry-red color. Aromas of red and black fruits combine with delicate spicy notes of eucalyptus, basil, and paprika, characteristic of the varietal. The aromas from oak aging are subtly fused into the fruity matrix with delicate notes of vanilla, mocha, and walnut. On the palate, it displays great structure with round and smooth tannins, filling the palate and enhancing the olfactory perception. It has a significant presence and a long finish, demonstrating very good aging potential.
